Converted from Phorums BB System
GM: Okay, there's a strapping young lad in a dashing greatcoat holding the door.
Player: I flirt with him; what do I roll?
GM: Roll a d20 and add your Emotional Availability score; you need to beat a difficulty of 10 plus his Charisma, modified by his Feat 'Looks Good In Pants'.
Player: Okay, I rolled a 14; that's a 17 total.
GM: You fall totally in love.
Player: Sweet.
...
Yeah, why didn't they include rules for romance? It'd be so cool to... roll dice... to experience love... waitaminute...
There are, however, rules for Social Interaction, a half-dozen or so social interaction skills (out of 25 total), a whole lot of empathetic and communication arcana/magics, feats like Beloved or other character-relationships... so I'm pretty sure the romance part is covered adequately, just not oppressively.
