Another is Garth Nix's Abhorsen trilogy (Sabriel, Lirael, Abhorsen), which is one of the best examples of fantasy I've seen in many a year. Not quite as relationship-driven as some romantic fantasy novels, but still a good match for the genre.

And for those of you who say that romantic fantasy can't be gritty, I wholeheartedly suggest Kristen Britain's "Green Rider", which may be the grittiest romantic fantasy novel ever written. I haven't read the sequel, "First Rider's Call", yet, but it's probably just as gritty.
