Actually, it is possible for Embraced Corruption characters to be redeeemed, just Very Hard. They can't gain Conviction points, so they no longer have the 3-1 option. Instead, they have to Redeem basically when it's appropriate to the story, and that's it.

Enough Heroic deeds may also Redeem a character.
