Very few RPGs or even novels are completely neutral (and I would argue that the result would be very bland). A writers work will include, to an extent, some part of his or her opinions.

What the Blue Rose team did with Blue Rose is not any different from most other RPGs. They created a setting with views based on a selected genre which is underrepresented in RPGs. Now I am beginning to understand why it is understated, considering the reaction of some gamers to this otherwise successful genre.
