Exactly, tolerance is about tolerating (go figure) people who you believe to be fundamentally wrong. The problem today is that too many people believe that if you think someone else is wrong politically or socially then they must also be evil.

But why not take me as an example? I have to tolerate all of you (the rest of humanity) on a daily basis. And yet I do it!

I should be held up as a moral paragon.
