I’m nothing if not 'trite', 'hackneyed', and 'cliche'

You’re right William it may not be for everyone, I agree. There are other games out there that do 4 color supers well, like Mutants and Masterminds and Hero. What makes GODSEND Agenda different is the wealth of information and ideas provided in the core book. 180 pages of plot hooks, aliens, transhumans, and secret agents.

GODSEND Agenda sets out to be a post modern super hero world. The order of the day is not to apprehend bank robbers or stop the villain from poisoning the water supply. The characters in the game are godlike in stature and have powers and abilities beyond the common man. The concept behind the book is if you were/are considered a god or have godlike powers what do you do? GODSEND Agenda is more of a super powers game rather than a super heroes game if that makes any since.

I’d be a fool to say the option to play 4 color super heroes isn’t there but there is so much more to be explored in a game than the repetitive super hero tropes that so many other games try and emulate. Crossgens the First was a good example of super hero characters in a non super hero world.

Well, some people consider the concept to be 'trite', 'hackneyed', and 'cliche'...
Others consider it to be 'classic', and 'a staple of the medium'!
I think both are correct, with execution being the major determinant of which is most applicable...
