Point taken. I must have blurred the last several WFRP reviews together when I set out to rail against the (non-existent) explicit comparisons between v1 and v2 in your review. My most sincere apologies.
I don't thing that blunder negates my point, though, because the comparison was *implicit* in many of the things you said. And your disingenuous comment in your reply above about "...comparing [WFRP v2] to any and all other complete RPGs." makes it clear that you were comparing WFRP v2 to *something*. Indeed, that comment made me laugh out loud. I can't imagine you (or, heck, *anyone* with a straight face) claiming that the likes of D&D, Hero, GURPS, Rolemaster, WoD or even HackMaster are not "complete RPGs." Not a single one of those--arguably the heaviest hitters in the industry--provides all of their core rules and resources in a single book. Every one segments this information into a variety of "essential" supplements.
As for the props, they were earned. Totally. I stand by my opinion that this was an entertaining, clear and (mostly) spot on review.
