Except that due to the printing process they can't just add 3 pages. So, they have to add what, 16 pages? What does that do to the cost? How much of the material is then repeated in the Beastiary resulting in cries of, "I didn't expect to pay $29.99 for a book with so much material from the core reprinted," or has to be cut from the Beastiary, which is the logical place for it.
