Converted from Phorums BB System

It's only been briefly addressed in some of the current reviews - but one thing I was hoping the WFRP2 would do was fix prices and the "adventuring economy". I always found the relations between initial "trappings" money, adventuring gains, and actual costs of different kinds don't really connect so well.
I love, for example, the table which gives an approximation of annual earnings of different people, where the Innkeeper is listed with 20-30 GC. Excellent benchmark, I thought, but then I sat down and did some numbers.
1 Night in the Common Room costs 5p. That is, one month is 150p, one year 1800p, translatable into 90sc or respectively 7,5 GC.
So if we fit an easy 8 people in a Common Room, ... well. Of course that is not net income, but well, a Common Room in the Empire will not cost 30 GC upkeep a year. Or will it?
One other thing I found was the prices for example for leather clothing somewhat excessive.
So my question is, I guess, whether anyone has been critically looking at the prices as well, and especially at this "annual income" table, and would like to share their thoughts.
