For inspirational material -- i.e., if you want to pit your heroes against creatures from actual folklore, as opposed to the latest Xyreyw2wek11?zzzz demon -- it'd be great, and you could certainly use the basic stats provided. A direct translation of the basic zombie abilities wouldn't be possible without the AFMBE book, but you could probably wing it easily enough -- especially with Angel. (And that's assuming you don't have anyone to give you those basic zombie abilities.)
