Entertaining & Informative Review

Converted from Phorums BB System
This is a great review -- it conveys a lot of (generally very accurate) information about the product, and is fun to read.
Some quick comments:
(a.) The 'little dragons' on the cover are wyverns.
(b.) The classes are organized in order of their prime attributes (the 'strength' classes are listed first, etc.).
(c.) The encumbrance system is indeed a disaster. I would advise all players to just ignore it.
(d.) I personally wish that C&C had tried to use a unified experience progression system. TLG promises that there is an underlying 'rationale' for their experience charts, but they have yet to reveal any details.
(e.) Your comments about wisdom reminded me that I think that a game like C&C (and D&D, for that matter) should introduce a distinct 'perception' ability score.
(f.) TLG has apparently hired a 'real' editor for future products, as well as the 2nd printing of the PHB. So hopefully the painfully dreadful editing job in the first printing will not be repeated in the future (and will someday yield nice profits on e-bay for those who purchased multiple copies of the classic 'flawed' first printing).
Thanks again for your great review!
