Yeah. Approximately two pastiche ideas crept into the Conan OGL main rulebook -- one of them being an oversight of mine, and the other something that fitted well enough into a small gap that it seemed appropriate.

Vincent Darlage did a great job of filling in more gaps with the Road of Kings book, taking the best of the pastiches to give a bit more detail. That said, when I've played the game myself the GM has generally been fine with the main rulebook alone. I'm reasonably sure that 99% of the geographical and cultural info in the Howard Conan stories made it into the main rulebook. Even stuff like the size and makeup of national armies is based fairly closely on descriptions given in the stories. Depending on the GM's personal taste, one will see the relatively blank canvas left by Howard as either an opportunity or a burden; if the latter, the RoK and other sourcebooks give more than enough info to satisfy the more completist approach.
