As many jewish and/or Muslim gamers would probably point out. There is such thing as beef bacon.

As a convert, I can tell you that Beef and Pork bacon taste almost 100% identical. Most of the taste you get from bacon actually comes from the smoking process anyways.

But your right, the idea of a pork steak(now that sounds dirty) sounds pretty nasty
