Somehow I missed actually responding to the intial post that started this whole thread.
This post doesn't do anything, since it has been a week since anyone posted here, but for those who check out the old posts...

I should have stated something along those lines (ie, likeing the rules, not liking the setting). If I didn't my bad. Possibly you didn't notice if I did, however, because, for all it's flaws I did enjoy reading about Tekumel. Most of my heavy flaws had one of two themes
1: It was unworkable, or presented in such a way as to seem unworkable.
2: It was workable, and historically viable, but not much fun to RP in, as presented.

I never said anything about hating the setting. But yes, all the flaws were indeed, in the setting.
