After visiting the site, I can say a few thing:
- white letters on black background should be punished by having the website designer's eyes nail to the back of his skull.
- the "gritty and cinematic" combat system is Runequest with complications.
- the magic seems (at least for mages and sorcerers) to be a "make a phrase with 3 runes" thing allready seen twelve times before, but I stopped reading there because the fucking white lines where busy merging together...
