Indeed It Isn't.

Converted from Phorums BB System
"90% of all games are not being reviewed by people who are becoming credited writers in the company that produces the game."
And this review wasn't written by an employee at the time it was originally written. WRITE IT DOWN.
"Jenny Brown didn't write the game, she wasn't even an employee of the company at the time, but SHE IS NOW; She has a vested interest in the company doing well. When she writes a review its not objective, its a piece of publicity, an ad for her new bosses with a direct personal interest on her part in convincing people to play the game. Because if they don't, the company may go out of business and she will be out of a job/lose the glory of having her name in Rpg books/is dating Joe Smith and he'll slit his wrists if people don't see the brilliance of his game system/etc etc ad nauseum."
*rolls eyes* See above. As the review was written before the reviewer was part of the company, said review is not self-promotion. It was a poor choice to not write another review, or to have someone else give the game another objective look much more recently, but the fact that an old review is appearing here now is more likely a repost by a time-strapped writer than a deliberate self-promotion.
And cut the idiotic examples. Nobody wants to read a lot of pointless attacks on legitimate publishers. Ad nauseum... faugh. That example is the only nauseating thing here.
"Ergo, this is a Self-promoting review: generally as in this case the resort of the desperate second rate-games made by second-rate companies that know they couldn't actually ever get the brilliant glowing praise they would want from a truly objective reviewer."
Kindly quit the unjustified attacks. They may be your stock-in-trade, but that doesn't mean anyone else wants to hear you sling pointless invective backed by extremely poor logic. You don't like the game, just from some poorly drawn conclusions of your own, despite never having laid eyes on it? Fine. Don't play it. Don't just join a pile-on on a questionable review because you think no one will defend it, and that criticizing it will earn you respect.
