Converted from Phorums BB System

It's true that "Necessary Evil" is not designed as a general purpose supers game, Bill, and I recognise that the powers and powers system are aimed at this setting (although few of the powers themselves are evil, per se). However, I think it's valid to explain what the book can offer to people who are not just after a single campaign arc for "Savage Worlds."

If I was in the market for a Super-hero game and spotted this one I'd like to know whether it can only be run for the included adventures or if I could use it instead of "Champions" or "Blood of Heroes" or whatever. Consequently my intention was to suggest who might find this supplement worthwhile even if they do not already run "Savage Worlds." I don't think it's worth buying as a city and adventure source for other systems, for example, but I rate it highly for its intended purpose and think it's well worth the money as a simple, action-oriented supers game for those who don't want the build-your-own complexity of "Champions." As someone who buys games and supplements I like to know whether a product line I don't normally follow can offer me anything worth looking at.

Your point is taken, though, and if I've leaned too much towards scrutinising the game outside of its intended purpose then that's an error of balance on my part.
