Two replies to your two points.

1: While I could argue that there is a slight difference between saying "I have a friend, so it's okay" and "I gave this to my friend and he said it was okay" I agree, it is a stupid argument to make.

2: Leaving aside the fact that I do hate everyone equally, my point was more along the lines that crap is crap, and I won't call it something else to avoid offending someone's sensibilities.

So, that leaves me with a question. I see your basic points, but your comment about hypocrisy leaves me scratching my head. Where exactly am I being a hypocrite?

My understanding of the word would be; if I played BR all the time, recommended it to my friends in person, and still gave it a terrible review. If you are talking about the post... I still don't see it.
