If that's a "classic Mary Sue", then so is Exalted. I mean, what other RPG panders to power fantasies like that?
I mean, if you look at it that way,
most RPG settings are "Mary Sue" settings, expect for settings such as Paranoia, Warhammer, and the world of Call of Cthulhu.

Presumably, despite all the technological advances fundamental human nature will for the most part still be the same.
And thus, there will be a market for these bioroids if it is possible to create them. That's only realistic.
