Great review Shannon.

I've only recently started to feel the urge to buy boardgames as opposed to my usual RPG obsession. That said, my collection is rather limited but I'm thinking of expanding it. Right now, the only games I own which might be considered "german-style" strategy games are Settlers of Catan, Citadels, A Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings. I've also played the online version of Ticket to Ride and enjoy that so much I'm sure to buy it on my next trip to the game store. All of which is to say, what games do you recommend I buy to fill out my collection?

Reading various reviews online this is what I have in mind but I'd like your thoughts on the matter:

Ticket to Ride
Ticket to Ride - Europe
Memoir '44
Shadows over Camelot (after your review)

I've also hear good things about Carcassonne, Puerto Rico, A Game of Thrones (A Clash of Kings), Arkham Horror, Power Grid and War of the Ring among others. Your thoughts?
