Great review, though!
I've been playing this rpg roughly since it's release a few weeks back. This review was overall very fair and balanced. The tools ARE there (IMHO) to run a game based on the novel. Truth is, there wasn't enough detail in the novel to really base the game off of it, and the movie was so utterly awful that I wouldn't WANT to play a game based on it. What's left? The CGI series has enough variety of weapons and enemies to really make the game meaty and open up more and more avenues for supplements. It's not even too difficult to cut back on the bugs, arm them with weapons, and watch the fur fly. The CGI series compensates for the lack of Arachnid technology by giving them biological weapons and the genetic ability to breed a species for any ecological circumstance/niche.

With the exception of a few areas that were left a bit grey, a good GM would have almost no problem running a 'Heinlein' game.
