This is pretty typical, I should point out!

In the playtests for the game, my players generally used index cards to do tallies, though I always just went ahead and used the sheets themselves.

Glass beads of different colors are very handy for Joss - that way it's easy for players to award each other joss in play, by flipping a bead from the central pool!
(This is the method I used for all the demos [which were pretty much ALL full!] at GenCon!)
