Your right, and by the time Dune showed up. Players had been playing getting there Dune-like Noble hopping kick playing Fading Suns for 4+ years.

And those of us who were looking for a more Dune like experience grabbed up CoE and some of us were disappointed. Just wasnt what I was hoping for.

And for the Record, although I original got Fading Suns for the Dune like elements. What really made me enjoy the system were the none Dune things. The Aliens, There take on religion, The way they handled space travel(jump gates get you place instantly, but flying to and from the gate can take months).
