Converted from Phorums BB System
...The numbers that didn't move on are underwhelming.
...I got the point of the game. I'm saying it's dumb. It's dumb to rely on nostalgia to sell games ...How many millions of copies did it sell? And are distributors sold out? Retailers? Or is it just Troll Lord Games? ... Bottom line: We're talking first about nostalgia sales to a niche market. Pretty soon, those feelings of nostalgia will fade.
But out of that fading niche, we're talking about occasional sales to one, maybe two, members of interested groups.
That ain't a lot.

All things pass. So what? Is Troll Lords paying your rent? Alot of us are happily daydreaming of our 'boxed set' days while changing our babies' diapers, filing our taxes, and
never actually playing at all.
Nostalgia is just remembering that you were truly happy even though you probably weren't. Don't kick people when they are down.
