Hm. Seems like a perfectly fine name to me, as it's descriptive. Better than a nonsensical made-up name...like "The Firlendun" or something that tells you nothing about them. To me,
that would be the cheap way out.
Obviously I can't disagree with you being irritated, though, so I guess we'll just disagree on the issue.
