Bloody ridiculous statement. Firefly the television series wasn't even able to last one full season and the movie flat-out bombed.
A thousand people have already enjoyed Star Wars for every one that ever has been or ever will be acquanited with Firefly/Serenity. Hell, people will still be writing college essays on Star Wars in 2105.
