Algernon Files "Setting"

Pretty good review, for the most part, except for the comment on the 'setting'...
Algernon Files really has no more of a 'Setting' than "Enemies' did, for Champions!
While the character backstories sometimes mention other characters in the book, you really can just 'plug and play' them by swapping characters that are not in your game, for characters that are!

Yes, you did mention that it wasn't supposed to be a Setting book earlier in your review, but I felt this last comment might confuse some people...

If you're not sure how good the book is, check out some of the Writeups on the Website, listed as 'Extras'...
'The Crone', for example, is (shall we say) somewhat reminiscent of a certain Russian character of Myth and Folklore (Baba Yaga, Mother of Ogres), and quite a handful for most Player Characters!
