Most cursing works only because the cursed person allows it to in any case. A good dramatic curse with as many flowery descriptions of doom just serves to concentrate the imagination somewhat. Then, when something nasty DOES happen, the cursed individual is meant to remember being cursed and think "ahhh so that's why I'm having this bad luck" often this is compounded by the fact that people will blame anything, anything at all if it means they can avoid blaming themselves. Satanism is more than inverting christian dogma and ritual. i've been a practicing Satanist for over a decade, so i think that makes you the wannabe.

yes, Satan does mean the Adversary, as in I AM your Adversary. Hail the One who is Against my enemies (usually the unthinking majority). loving one's enemies is decidely christian, which is why i'm against that practice.
