In fact, when Emperor Magnus the Pious asked the elves to help repel the first incursion of Chaos, the capitol of the empire at that time was Nuln, and I'm pretty sure the Eldritch University of Nuln and the Elemental Colleges predate the Arcane Colleges in Altdorf. Hopefully the new Realms of Sorcery book will help clear that up.

I'm aggrieved though that Sigmar's Heirs has made this sort of cross-referencing necessary. I'm not a devotee of either the old RPG material or the wargame, so I don't really care whether Black Industry presents me with material that is consistent with what has gone before: but their stuff really ought to be consistent internally.
bringing in old background might be well worth doing, as in this vexed question of the Colleges and in the matter of the River of Echoes: but it's not worth doing with bullky junk such as the Bögenhafen sewers or the Gazetteer.
I'd like to buy Realms of Sorcery and other forthcoming stuff, but right now I don't feel that there's any guarantee that it will be worth the cover price.
