Re: Thankyou for you co-operation

Hi Jon,

I was thinking of Paranoia at times while I read the book. If a person wanted to, they could certainly get a more serious Paranoia feel out of the product. The biggest difference here would be that the Alchemicals are movers and shakers in Autochthonian society while Troubleshooters are often at the bottom of the barrel. Alchemicals often occupy the highest leadership roles in society, and each of them has a role to play in maintaining society.

The Castes do correspond to each of the types of Exalted, and are meant to be generalized versions of those types. It is fair to say that they are distilled versions of the other major types of Exalted, but with Autochthonian specific roles.

Thanks for the positive feedback!

Are Alchemicals essentially laser cyber Troubleshooters sent on missions by their Regional God / Friend Autochthon?

Less flippantly, the Castes sound like condensed versions of the existing Exalted, without the jarring (IMO) discrepancies like Night caste solars. For example, Orichalcum caste Alchemicals sound like they're "essential" Solars. Is it fair to say the Alcemical castes are distilled versions of the other Exalted?

Great review by the way: I shall be buying.
