Sure you can change everything. Hey, I could get the Star Wars RPG and change every rule in the book, rewrite Darth Vader a cross-dressing dwarf, introduce the Flying Pink Giant Watermelon Monster as the Emperor of the Universe, and just say that we'll use the Macho Women With Guns combat system.... but then why the fuck would I bother using the rules in the first place?
The point is, if the game system sucks in some way, why shouldn't I mention where and in what way that it sucks? Hey, I've been fair - I've praised the game system in other ways too.
By the way, I have no opposition to including anything else that you'd like to put into YOUR game. If you haven't noticed, I've been discusssing the Serenity RPG game system - you know, like the one in the rule-book that I keep referring to - but if you want to carry on that adding this or that "House Rule" or weirdo world that IS NOT IN THE SETTING OR THE GAME-BOOK as if that in anyway meant that the game-system as it is in the book is perfect and balanced, then fine...
However, I've been referring to the Serenity RPG as it is in the book, and it's good and bad points - not some variant version of it.
