Oops. Still, that just pushes the question back a little bit. At some point, some game used polyhedral dice for the first time, at which point they must have seemed an odd way to decide success or failure.

It’s a psycho-thriller about an escaped convict who gets hitches a ride with a cop and his son. Throw in a trunk-full of money, some old accomplices, insanity and a body count. Mix. Add popcorn.
