I've been on that same train, though I must've missed the station at which Armageddon was being sold.
To step off the topic a bit, Myrmidon also published the Manhunter RPG and Cosmic Enforcers RPG. The former was a sci-fantasy game of bounty hunting in the far future (starships and sorcery, and tied into Rifts shortly thereafter), the latter was a game of superheroics in a
different far future. Both, sadly, have never been redone in different systems. Manhunter is a strong contender for True20 conversion (and if I ever find my fraggin' books, I plan to do just that!), while Cosmic Enforcers would work well with Mutants & Masterminds.
