No, you have taken quotes out of context to argue a point against something I have never said.

Taking a smug and abusive tone proves nothing, and that is exactly what you have done. The only person twisting arguments is you, and the fact that you continue to take my comments out of context despite my consistently saying that I dislike Unisystem but acknowledge that it is a functional game simply leaves me asking... what exactly are you wanting me to say?

Because you spend a lot of time telling me what my opinion of Unisystem is despite my regularly stating that it isn't my opinion at all.

I made a number of points in my review. I pointed out that Unisystem works. I pointed out that a number of rules were odd to me because I felt they didn't serve any real beneficial purpose to the feel of the game or how it played out. That's it. In the past I have stated that I felt the system to be too generic and bland for my tastes. I have also said, in the past, if you are the kind of person who enjoys a system that gets out of the way and lets the group be their creative selves - then it will appeal. And I have advised people to take up unisystem on a number of occasions.

So exactly where is the irrational hatred you claim I have? I certainly have never actually said anything of the sort - and I have always given my reasons for why I advise being careful to consider Unisystem for games because I have found some unisystem fans are so wrapped up in talking about the game they fail to give a truly honest description of what to expect from the game. Which I made certain to not comment on in my review - which keeps solely to the factual issues I had with Armageddon.

I have pointed out very clearly what my issues with the GM's advice were. Yes, the adversary chapter is for the GM, and I acknowledged that. But it isn't a chapter of advice - it is purely a resource. One that, as I pointed out, didn't support the shades-of-grey style that some of the fiction implied existed in the setting.

I stand by my review. I give clear reasons for my opinion. Take it or leave it. But if you do have the need to make comment, be certain to talk about what I did say and show the courtesy to consider my comments in context. Most definitely get it into your head that I have no axe against unisystem or Eden, and I have said this enough times now with reasoned comments showing what my actual opinion is.
