Sorry, let me explain what I meant, a little more clearly (I hope!).
If you roll a Natural '1' on a Saving throw, you fail, even if only minimally, do you not?
That's fine, for one-on-one combat, but it gets to be a problem when multiple attackers gang up on one target...
Then (and I *am* talking personal preference, here!) you tend to see people who should last awhile getting hit too often, and failing their Damage saves too often...
Which, even then, wouldn't be so bad...
until you get someone with enough Duplication to put together 1,000 identical attackers decide to hit you!
I just find that M&M too often becomes an exercise in Diplomacy, with the Victory going to the Hero or the Villain who can round up the most Allies for one scenario...
