Honestly speaking, I consider Encounter Critical to be junk in the sense of 'junk food'. Yes, you can eat it but you would be a lot better with a more balanced, well prepared and fulfilling meal. M&M is not junk in this sense, so I think that picking exactly EC to compare to M&M when there are there so many games to compare it to is a little unfair. My opinion, of course.
