Re: [RPG]: Shadowrun 4th Edition, reviewed by Harlequins_Back (3/2)

Ok, Can I ask a stupid question, what does 'TN' stand for? Sometimes acronyms just mess me right up...

On another note, I did pick up the new Shadowrun RPG book at my local gaming store. I bought it because I've always been a fan of the whole cyberpunk genre and I did play Shadowrun 2nd edition in the early to mid 90's. But haven't touched it in like 10 years.

So basically I don't recall the old system much, other then it was fun to play. I have always tought that systems improve over time because more and more input is put into them. And although I can't compare to 2nd edition, this new 4th edition seems very structured and simple to use. For someone new to the game I think it's a great system, although it would appear that to those who have played the game religiously for the past decade or so might be a little miffed...

I plan on running my first session this weekend and see how my players like it... I will play the game the creators intended to have it played and then make my own modifications if I feel certain rules don't fit right...
