The problem, unless I've missed something in the rules, is that the other players can't help you! You need trophies to get un-cursed, which realistically you can't get as long as you are cursed, but investigators are not allowed to transfer trophies to each other (you can only share items, money, and spells). The location in question (I forget which exactly it was) only allows you to lift your own curses, not someone else's. So you're totally hosed. Until you roll a 6.

If the other players could help you out at all, I would have no problem with the curses. But if I remember correctly, they can't.
