Don't remember what I wrote now! And I've only skimmed the new version. Off the top of my head, the creatures section has been expanded a lot and it does look as if you can now make beasties from scratch. The damage section, however, has not received the thorough clean-up it needed, e.g. there is still confusion about how Wounds work. Layout is better - less cramped. (And there is art, though I wasn't bothered about that.) Multi-genre support should be better even if it's just by virtue of having the settings there.
