Converted from Phorums BB System

Actually James, the problem is huge. It's the biggest loophole in the game. Considering that the game is so centered on combat, a combat fighter is the way to go.
If you'd like to make a combat whore, do this: Buy your toughness up to 7. Buy chainmail armor or better (def 6), buy a shield (def 4), and make sure you take an A or B in priorities in proficiencies. Your defense will then be 17, and you attack dice plentiful. Don't forget to put some points into DEX. Imagine that someone will then have to do 17 points of damage to injure you(basically equal to the number of successes plus STR plus wpn mod). That's if they can hit you. A very difficult opponent to take down, indeed. As a GM I would limit Toughness to 5, personally. 7 is simply ridiculous.

Wow. A) Don't look now your bias is showing, especially posting a year after the discussion in this thread finished (yes, yes, I know. Pot, kettle, black) B) You really don't know the system. Stop trying to fearmonger without knowing the system.

What made you hate on the system so much?
