Wonderful review, Dan. I always was eager to give HARP a try. It was interesting enough that I actually ordered the special edition hardover a couple (or was it three?) years ago. A pity though, as that money seems to have been thrown to the winds, as ICE quickly took the payment, and then ... well, gave excuse after excuse after excuse, but never actually produced/shipped the book. Now, the special edition seems to be lost in limbo, but in its lieu, a "placeholder" hardcover was promised last year, but it's been the same string of excuses with that too. The only responses to my e-mails have been more promises about how it will ship soon, that don't seem to materialize.

It's a pity, it sounds like a system my group really could have enjoyed, had they actually honored the transaction and put the book in our hands.
