The way you sounded, you seemed to have misunderstood what I meant by a piece-by-piece reading, and insinuated that I hadn't read the entire book, and that that was my problem, not the book itself. Which is completely incorrect: I HAVE read the entire book (several times, in fact), in order, just not all at the same time. I don't have the luxury of enough time away from my job to read the whole book at a gulp. Possibly I misread what you stated.

But my point entirely is that what you're 'refuting' others criticisms with is your own experiences. Yes, they were different than mine, but that in no way makes mine less valid (or yours, for that matter). That my experiences were different than yours in no way means that I was 'not doing it right', as you seemed to be insinuating. Obviously two different people can form two different opinions on the same book, but that doesn't mean either one is wrong.

And I'm not here to convince you. Other people read these threads, too. I'd rather they know what they might potentially be getting into. nSR is a perfectly fine game, but it could be better with work. FanPro does not seem interested in simplifying their explanations and fixing their gear listings, or adding needed tables with Matrix and Astral combat maneuvers, so I suspect it will continue to be a good game that could be better.

As a sidenote, the Matrix is starting to make more sense. It has, however, taken me six readings to get to this point. Considering that it usually takes me only two readings to grok most systems, I consider this a significant problem with the chapter. Obviously your mileage varied.
