The thing is, if the AP doesn't represent hit points (which I know they don't) they don't represent more than a lot of crunchyness that still wont get you a much better idea if you have "killed the bastard yet".

The thing is, HQ is very crunchy when you finally decide it's time to roll dice and not gloss over it. But, it still is kind of vague what the *point is* to swap around those AP!

Basically I think it's a disatisfaction about that you huff and puff and it's just "trying for position" until till final AP bid falls and nobody really got hurt, unless you use an optional "take a wound" option. Maybe that's the way you have to do it.

Now, my impressions are a bit coloured by HW, and Dan's review (and your suggested rules fix) makes me curious about gving it a new chance. The -5 might be a HW relic, probably.
