Y'know I've been thinking about this concept rather more than is healthy and I reckon I could come up without about four or five reasons why demons might do naughty things... but I'm thinking of maybe cutting it free from a Christian bias entirely. There are plenty of cultures that have demons or demon-equivalents (Arabian Djinn for instance) and there's no reason why those religions shouldn't get in on the demon-slaying action too. Would losing the Christian element from the demonic mythos destroy the atmosphere, or might it just carry the game closer to the Cthulian atmosphere that Satanis claims to reproduce?
