Glad it works for your game, but I was disappointed.

When it comes to hit points, the game uses a band-aid that works okay (the 10 hp massive damage threshold). I mean, this really signals d20 isn't appropriate for the CoC game too, but in practice it does get the basic job done, so it isn't something I pick upon.

However, the game really should have come up with something like this for academical skills too. CoC simply doesn't work with the simplistic attitude toward learning that D&D can get by with.

As it it, this major weakness of the fantasy-born d20 is a real showstopper. Shame the review didn't take that into account.
