You seem like a nice guy and all, and I really do like Capes an awful lot, but honestly, the length of this conversation now exceeds my interest in it. It's taking more time and energy to convince you that looking at a free, 7-page download is worth it than I feel like expending.
Simply put, Capes works as a game the same way any game works: the people playing it are all committed to playing a game with each other and having a good time. If that seems mysterious or unusual to you...sorry, dude, I don't know what to tell you.
