One thing I meant to put into the review but forgot about, is that barring the monster stats, the only NPC stats to be found are in the Borrowed Time portion of the book. No examples of character creation, no typical NPCs of varying types,
nothing.
I think the game would have been well served by a dozen pages of typical NPCs, perhaps split between medieval/fantasy and modern (which is easily extrapolated into sci-fi). True20 seems especially well suited to quick adventures, system-wise, and more support for this would have been great. That way you make it easier for people to run games and also give them an idea of what the system views as the power level for various people.
In addition, some sample PCs of different types would help people new to the system or those used to other d20 systems. What does a fantasy wizard look like in True20? Show us how the power system can be flexed to create wizards, psykers, and so on.
