disagree with this! The Wilderlands is a great spur to GM ... er, Judge ... innovation and creativity, not a replacement for it.
Those thousands of short entries on different locations and encounters can
inspire the Judge to introduce entirely new directions and plots in his game. They are cues for creativity and improvisation -- not constraints! And there is also plenty of 'empty space' for the Judge to add his/her own creations, but with the benefit of a good understanding of the local environment.
The product is a huge set of adventure seeds, all tied to different locations, and all requiring Judge creativity and elaboration. It's wonderful.
