Eh, it's the author who keeps insisting that he's too "evil" for the Church of Satan and that EoS is supposed to be a genuine magical ritual rather than a mere RPG. Unless you are impressed by his claims, there really isn't much to the game itself: nothing that couldn't be outdone with (for instance) a Nephandi chronicle in Mage, as said. "Biased?" "Discrimination?" The vast majority of those who have commented on his efforts on these forums simply don't care whether Derrick is a Satanist or not, except when he goes out of his way to pull off stunts like pronouncing elaborate curses on anyone who dares to give bad reviews of his work.
