Actually, it's true that the mechanics are not so much poor as undistinguished and underdeveloped, but neither they nor the game's depiction of "wickedness" are in any way revolutionary: as RPGs go, EoS quite frankly doesn't come even close to being as disturbing as, say, the Gnostic cosmology of Kult. Its imagery of supposed überevil seems... juvenile.
